I don't know anyone in Ashcroft, but it makes me think of a suburb between Ashfield and and Canterbury, i think, that they imaginatively called Ashbury, where I used to often pick up freecycle stuff. I did discover some cool places while 'mapping' – including Winjii Jimmi which I sent to a friend who knows my ex bf was a Jimmy! He found that VERY amusing!
Love the invites! Especially love the comment, 'let it be consumable, an experience or second-hand.' I really think I will be copying that one for future events, including next Christmas. The flowers are gorgeous, too.
I feel a bit 'you'd be bringing me gifts, right?' – but I really don't want to add to the endless cycle of stuff. I'm more than content with people's company!! Feel free to steal it.
Fun fun! Very creative invites! I hope everything goes well and you have a great turn out 🙂
Thanks Amanda, it'll be small constrained by the size of our home! But I'm looking forward to it nonetheless.
Those are really cool! I love the map.
Welcome and thank you Michele!
Some very creative ideas. Have a fun time and best wishes for your milestone birthday. xxx
Thank you so much Fairy!
Brilliant theme! (Do you know someone who lived at Ashcroft? My first teaching post was near there. Tough gig!)
I love the whole map thing! And beautiful flowers.
Good luck and happy birthday you young whippersnapper!

I just love the map theme! Will you be posting about the food, too?
Of course! At this stage, I'm incredibly tempted to get caterers, so I can totally just soak everything up and enjoy.
