Sculptures by the sea 2015

Every year in late October and early November, the famed walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach is used as a backdrop for a sculpture competition (though it ends at Tamarama Beach).  Most years, I delay and delay until I’ve missed going.  This year, I went on the morning of the last day.  Which means I just missed our latest Prime Minister!

Here’s some of my favourites

  1. Jeepers – was that fish absolutely GIGANTIC or is that just the angle!

Oh, you're making me so homesick for Sydney! We used to be able to walk to Tamarama early in the morning, watching the sun come up!

I never did see the Sculptures show though. One for the list whenever we are back in Sydney at the right time! It looks amazing!

  2. I haven’t gone for a while. Last time it was sooo crowded I felt we couldn’t appreciate the art. It was all move along and no time to contemplate. And coming from way up north we have to drive. And parking is near impossible. Because of course I can only do weekends. This year I meant to go but the time passed so quickly.
